Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about using Subspace to schedule meetings.

What is Subspace?+

Subspace is a smart meeting scheduler. You create an event, share a link, and participants chat with an assistant to share when they are free; no back-and-forth emails, no availability grids.

How is this different from Calendly or Doodle?+

Subspace uses natural conversation instead of rigid time slots or polls. Participants type things like “I’m free Tuesday afternoon” and Subspace interprets that, compares it with everyone else’s responses, and surfaces the best times.

Do I need an account to join a meeting?+

No. Anyone with the event link can join and share their availability; just enter your name. Only the organizer needs to create the event.

What are channels?+

Channels are lightweight meeting rooms that Subspace can spin up once a time is agreed on. They support chat, voice, and video, and auto-close after the meeting ends.

Is my data private?+

Your event details and chat are stored securely and only visible to participants you invite. We never sell your data or use your scheduling information for advertising.

How much does Subspace cost?+

Subspace is currently free while in early release. We will announce pricing well in advance of any changes and will always have a generous free tier.

Can I use Subspace on mobile?+

Yes. The scheduling flow and channels work in any modern mobile browser; nothing to install.
